Are you gardening-mad? Are you a lover of all things artistic?
The new Isle of Wight Spring Art and Garden Fair will be taking place this Easter Weekend at Northwood House and Park in Cowes on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th April (Good Friday and Easter Saturday).
Garden products and paraphernalia, plants, flowers, machinery, tools, furniture and much more will be on display throughout the event, situated across our picturesque lawns and open parkland. Inside the House itself you'll find the 'Island Arts Showcase', where a selection of our Island's quality artists will be exhibiting and selling their work in a variety of rich mediums, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and glassware, to name but a few! For those of you looking to unleash your creativity, you'll even have the chance to pick up a brush and participate in a life drawing class!
The fair, which is certain to be the first main Island event of the upcoming spring and summer season, is sure to attract visitors from all across the Island during this popular Easter holiday weekend. Producers and retailers of crafts and local foods, as well as live entertainment and a range of premium Island businesses, organisations and charities will also be in attendance.
Proceeds from the two-day event will be going to Northwood House Charitable Trust to help with the ongoing restoration of the Grade II* listed building, allowing future generations to continue to enjoy one of the busiest event venues on the Isle of Wight.
Applications for exhibitors are now open, with a variety of different plot choices available. If you think you'll be a great addition to the fair and would like to take part, we'd love to hear from you! Please visit northwoodhouse.org/events for more information or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a booking form. Applications close Friday 8th March.
