Matt and Cat say...
"Newchurch's Garlic Farm has grown into a real attraction. Luckily there's a shop on site, plus a restaurant with a great, inventive menu which is changing seasonally and really does feature garlic - as you'd expect. There's a huge range of delicious garlic produce on sale here. We can't resist garlic onion marmalade and garlic pork scratchings. In Newchurch village itself is the Pointer Inn, a fantastic pub with a decent bar and some real talent in the kitchen. If you have room after your hearty first course, our top tip is the 'atomic' pavlova - a mushroom cloud of meringue served with sweet summer fruits and Chantilly cream. Along the cycle track is Pedallers, a great pitstop for light lunches and cake - dogs, muddy boots and cyclists are all welcome here."
