Join us at the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary for our special Christmas Markets on the 27th and 28th of November to begin your festive season in style.
We have lined up a beautiful collection of Christmas stall holders selling unique gifts and decorations from local Isle of Wight designer makers and artists.
With Father Christmas launching his magical wonderland grotto plus carols, festive food, mulled wine and our boozy hot chocloate, the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is the perfect place to kick off your Xmas shopping and find that perfect gift.
You will also get to spend time with our beautiful animals in their festive setting including meeting our new arrivals, a pair of Servals rescued from the illegal pet trade called Tafkap and Xirus. They are adorable and we know you are going to love them.
This is just the start of our Christmas season – every weekend in December Father Christmas will be at the sanctuary for children to visit and we'll be serving festive treats in the cafe all through the season.
We also have two wonderful Christmas talks line up in the café with Steve Egerton-Read giving a talk on how the White-Tailed Eagle release has gone on the Island on December 3rd. On Monday December 13th Tim Wander is here to give a history talk about what a Christmas would have felt like for a soldier at various times in the history of our historic Sandown fort.
And if that is not enough, on Friday 17th of December we'll be staying open a little later and singing carols on the green – just across the path from Casper and Frosty. We're sure they'll be delighted and join in with us. Exact time to be announced soon.
It really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
Tickets available for all our Christmas events are available online so book now to avoid disappointment.
