Mojac's opened in January 2000 and was named after our two sons Jack and Tom. Our aim has consistently been to provide our customers with a warm, cosy environment in which you can be wined, dined and indulged, whether you are a regular visitor with us or visit only once.
In 2009 we were rewarded for our efforts with a "Readers Recommendation" in the prestigious, independent Good Food Guide 2010. We have also won "Best Dessert" Award for 2009/10, 2010/11 and 2011/12 in the Wight Good Food Guide for our Raspberry Pavlova. In 2013 we were awarded Restaurant of the Year by Les Routiers. In 2014 the Wight Good Food Guide awarded us Best Restaurant as well as Joint Best Dessert. In 2015 we were again awarded Wight Good Food Guide Best Restaurant. In 2016 Les Routiers again nominated us for Best Restaurant and the Wight Good Food Guide listed as in their Top Five best places.
Chef/Proprietor Mark has over 30 years' experience in the catering trade, and uses this, together with quality, fresh local produce to provide you with excellent food, which is all prepared and cooked on site.
The menu is changed on a regular basis, depending on the season and availability of local produce. If you have any special dietary needs, please call us to discuss these - in particular all sauces and soups are now made with gluten free flour and many of our dishes are gluten free. Those that aren't can generally be adapted for the coeliac diet. Please let us know if you are a coeliac eating with us so we can ensure your meal is prepared accordingly for you. We are also able to offer nut free dishes. Most of our sauces are now also dairy free please ask for details.
