#77 - Become a human hamster and Zorb downhill
Isle Of Wight
AboutEver watched a hamster running round in an exercise ball and fancied a go? Well climbing inside a giant inflatable ball and being pushed down a hill (or “zorbing” as it is officially known) is fast becoming one of the most popular outdoor pursuits for adrenaline junkies.
There are different variations to try – “harnessed zorbing” sees you and a friend or family member strapped into a large orb, and rolled down a slope – similar to being on a 2 person rollercoaster without any rails. “Hydro zorbing” is similar, only you are joined by around 30 litres of water as you roll along.
You can also jump into water zorbs at some of our attractions, where you won’t be strapped in and have slightly more control over your ball (albeit in a pool of water, so you will probably spend an equal amount of time upside down!)
