Weirside Cottage is an immaculately presented Grade II listed holiday cottage in Brighstone, one of the most popular villages in the Isle of Wight. The cottage dates from 17th century and is beautifully restored with character features such as oak beams and fireplaces. The cottage has parking for 2 cars, a lawned garden reached by a footbridge over a brook, and a terrace with summerhouse.
You enter the cottage through a stone porch with good coat and boot storage. The porch leads into the living space - a cosy sitting room with comfortable sofas, exposed stonework, brick fireplace and a dining room with oak table, chairs and wood burner. This then leads to the fitted kitchen and beyond to a well-appointed bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Upstairs the two bedrooms (one double and one twin) are bright and airy and each has good storage for clothes and belongings.
The cottage has central heating and is ideal for holidays and short breaks.
Guests are welcomed with a hamper of milk, bread, biscuits, eggs and butter. Coffee, tea & sugar also provided.
Babies under 6 months and children over 5 only. Children must be supervised when in the garden, especially near the brook.
