Just ten minutes walk away from the historic harbour town of Yarmouth; staying here you could lock up the car, discard your keys and enjoy the pleasures that readily surround you.
Waters Edge comprises three double bedrooms with three bathrooms arranged over 3 floors, 25 metres from the sea shore. Its lounge, dining area and master bedroom command uninterrupted panoramic views across the Solent to the harbour town on Lymington and from its balcony, a back drop of exquisite sunsets complete the view of Hurst Castle to the west. The view is ever changing as boating activity creates an interesting variety to the vista. Remember to leave your windows open to enjoy the peaceful sound of the water lapping on the shores edge to experience the tranquillity of this excellent location.
The property is very well equipped and refurbed where necessary every season to ensure first class presentation. We wanted to offer a home from home experience - soft leather furnishing, sold oak furniture, carefully selected mattresses with Egyptian cotton linen, soft fluffy towels along with a warm welcome to the Island. The lounge and dining area accommodates 6 and a contemporary feature plasma fireplace ensures that cosy feel. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to go and facilities include all that is associated with comfort of modern living.
Within a stone throw you can enjoy leisurely walks along disused steam railway tracks along the Yar estuary (famous for bird watching), adventurous walks incorporating the Needles and Old Battery and scrumptious dining with an amazing choice of truly different restaurants. Examples include the George Hotel with it's newly appointed brasserie or maybe superb fresh fish at the famous Salty's Restaurant or a unique experience at the newly opened On The Rocks restaurant where you cook the very best of Island beef on a lava stone at your own table. Just across the road is the Beach House Cafe - good value fresh food & an excellent full English breakfast right on your doorstep. All this & much more within walking distance of your holiday home and just five minutes drive from the ferry terminal at Yarmouth. Local beaches include Colwell, Totland and Compton.
