Barton Lodge is a thoughtfully restored and beautifully presented 3-bedroom property, located on the edge of the Barton Estate in East Cowes. The house has mature gardens with a large lawned area at the back of the house and surrounding high borders, offering a wonderful sense of peace and privacy. 

The property sleeps 6 guests over two floors and offers flexible adaptable beds that convert from King to singles. The living area has views over the garden and the kitchen leads out to the large garden. 

The neighbouring property, Osborne House was the former residence of Queen Victoria many years ago, and the house and gardens have been extremely well maintained by English Heritage and is open to the public throughout the year. 

The location is perfect for exploring the Island and the nearby town of East Cowes is about a 30-minute walk away, and from here it’s just a short hop (via the floating bridge) over to Cowes, the Sailing capital of the UK and always buzzing with activity in the summer months. 

Keen walkers will enjoy the nearby footpaths along the River Medina, with plenty of places to stop along the way for a drink and a bite to eat.
