This elegant, Grade II listed, Georgian town house is in a quiet and attractive location close to the town centre in the Island’s historic capital of Newport.

Having been refurbished throughout, St John’s House provides period character with tastefully styled accommodation over three floors and is perfect for tourists (families and couples, sleeping up to 8) and business guests.

For those without a car, the house is a short walk from the main bus station with regular services all over the Island, including the ferry ports. For those who want to bring their car, St John’s House has a secure off street parking space.

Carisbrooke Castle is nearby. All the Island’s attraction are within easy reach including Osborne House, Calbourne Water Mill, Ventnor Botanic Gardens, The Needles, National Trust properties, harbours at Cowes and Yarmouth, seaside resorts, zoos and amusement parks. There are many beautiful walks to discover along the heritage coastline and plenty of sandy or shingle beaches, coves and bays.

The nearby town centre bustles with shops (including a major supermarket within walking distance), restaurants and pubs. There are local market on Tuesdays and Fridays, an arts complex at the old Quay and a multiplex cinema. Outdoor pursuits include excellent scenic walking, cycling, riding, fishing and golf.

The property is ideal for business guests who want something a little different to a hotel, with WI-FI and easy access to the whole island by bus or car.
